Cherrie
Ni hao! Cherrie is a native Beijinger. Once upon a time, she lived in Canada, France, and Singapore. Now, she is happily rooted in NYC with the rest of the M train passengers. She loves exploring the city and seeing the wonders of this world. However, don’t expect too much from her when she is cultivating herself at the barn yard.
A self-trained photographer now working for the school newspaper, she can hopefully update you with some fun, non-journalism pictures here on the train.

Sophia
But you can call her S-dawg, Soph, Sophoppa, Sofa, or maybe something else, permission pending.
Here is a list of relevant nouns: environmentalist, violinist, travel/language enthusiast, proud introvert, southern peach, connoisseur of all things gluten free, aspiring marathon runner, National-Geographic-Kids-published photographer, book snob, art museum fiend, Virgo (Cancer rising), former knitter, future pig owner.
Catch her climbing a tree near Orto Botanico di Padova or (more probably) eating multiple gelati a day in an attempt to fill an absurd amount of free time. Ci vediamo presto!

Juliet
As seen here, Juliet is a stereotypical Californian who loves the beach and still gets very excited about snow. A week ago she had to get stitches after a cooking mishap, and on this day she spilled green tea on her laptop. Despite her klutzfullness, Juliet is a chemist and often works with toxic chemicals.
Juliet is the older sister to three little bros, a follower of Christ, and an avid walker (not a runner). She thinks of herself as antisocial even though people tell her she is not; she does love and miss her M-trainers quite a lot. Juliet is a baker and may treat this as a pseudo food blog.

Jamie
Growing up in Syracuse, NY, Jamie is surprisingly intolerant to the cold, but does love essentially all outdoor activities. She is a dancer, a musical theater fanatic, a (self-proclaimed) coffee connoisseur and a huge foodie (but not a good chef).
She likes to think of herself as positive and honest…sometimes a little too honest 🙂 Wish her luck this semester as she pretends to be a fluent Spanish speaker in Buenos Aires!
