Once upon a time…

… there was no Massage Train. The four bold and beautiful Barnard women were simply Juliet, Sophia, Jamie, and Cherrie. They led separate and aimless lives, drifting from club meetings to class to rehearsals, pondering the seeming incoherence of their existences. At first, it was not obvious what their lives were lacking. Was it nutritious food from Hewitt? A personal connection with Mille the Dancing Bear? Or perhaps free laundry? Nothing seemed to be quite the source of their qualms.

And then, late one September night, just when each woman had almost given up, Massage Train was born (though not christened as such until January 2019, when a post-ethiopian food delirium provoked the idea of starting a massage train). After realizing that what they were lacking was each other, their lives assumed a renewed sense of direction.

However geographically separated they are now, they hope that the vibrant orange M TRAIN will allow them to expand their horizons beyond the familiar red 1/2/3 and, virtually, at least, bring together three continents and four exciting adventures.

But they’ve got …trains…” (Plain White T’s)
